GitHub’s changelog says GitHub Copilot in Slack and Microsoft Teams now supports working across multiple repositories in a single conversation—for example listing open pull requests that need attention, summarizing merges across repos, or investigating an issue that spans frontend and backend—without switching conversations.

Other updates: @GitHub can appear anywhere in a message, not only at the start; switching repositories mid-conversation is smoother; Copilot in Slack can use shared messages and threads as context; and GitHub cites reliability improvements for task startup and recovery from interruptions. Availability follows GitHub’s in-product configuration.
