Builder surfaces this week: Figma Specs, Copilot multi-repo and model sunsets, YouTube Music AI labels
Figma Specs keeps Markdown context on the canvas for agents/MCP; Copilot gains Slack/Teams multi-repo sessions and sunsets some models; YouTube Music starts labeling mostly AI-made songs. All change everyday creative UI—under different platform rules.
Figma launched Specs: Markdown context containers on the canvas so specs can be handed to agents, with MCP hooks. It changes how design files hand off to agents; it does not by itself mean a particular model is built into Figma.
GitHub Copilot in Slack/Teams now supports one session across multiple repositories. The same week Copilot said some models will be deprecated on 16 Nov, pointing teams to Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 lines. Multi-repo cuts context-switching; sunsets force default-model migrations—schedule them separately.
YouTube Music began labeling songs that are mostly AI-generated, bringing disclosure into listening. Exact rules follow the platform; labels do not settle training-data disputes, but they change whether listeners can spot AI repertoire at a glance.
