Kimi Code 2.3.2: default to direct handling; Swarm only when enabled

MoonshotAI shipped @moonshot-ai/kimi-code@2.3.2: the agent handles tasks directly by default instead of proactively launching subagents; delegation must be requested in the message, AGENTS.md, a skill, or an enabled multi-agent mode. AgentSwarm starts only when swarm mode is turned on—so swarms are unavailable in kimi -p and ACP clients such as Zed.

MoonshotAI published @moonshot-ai/kimi-code@2.3.2 on GitHub (release datetime 2026-10-25T07:59:14Z). The patch notes two behavior changes: handle tasks directly by default instead of proactively launching subagents—request delegation explicitly in your message, AGENTS.md, a skill, or an enabled multi-agent mode; and agent swarms now start only when swarm mode is turned on—the agent can no longer launch AgentSwarm by itself—so swarms are no longer available in kimi -p or ACP clients such as Zed. Wording is taken from the official release notes as a vendor changelog.
