Meta launches Muse Wonder for memory-aware, long-running agents
Meta has launched Muse Wonder and Wonder Full. Wonder is in API preview and Muse Code; Full requires a higher-tier subscription. Subscriptions allow training on content by default, with an off switch. The services restrict access from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

Meta has introduced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full for coding and multi-step personal and professional agents. Wonder is in preview through the pay-as-you-go Meta Model API and through Muse Code on pay-as-you-go or any subscription plan. The higher-capability Full variant is limited to Muse Code’s Power Usage and Maximum Usage subscriptions. Setting Wonder’s reasoning effort to max does not select Full. Consumer Muse access is coming later, starting with subscribers; no specific date has been announced.
Wonder API pricing is US$4 per million input tokens, US$0.20 per million cached-input tokens and US$20 per million output tokens, with no long-context premium. Web search adds US$2.50 per thousand queries on top of token charges. Input, output and search are billed separately, so a long-running task’s total cost depends on actual usage.
The two Full-eligible plans are listed at US$50 and US$200 a month. Both have usage limits, and benefits and availability vary by region. These subscriptions apply only through the Muse Code command-line tool; additional API keys are billed pay-as-you-go. The subscription prices are not Full API prices.
The documentation gives Wonder a 1,048,576-token context window, with text, image, video, audio and PDF inputs and text output. It supports tool calls, structured output, web search and computer use. Meta calls carrying relevant context across conversations and retrieving it Active Memory. Active Focus describes trying alternatives and continuing through obstacles; the company says the model asks questions when needed and checks in before important actions. These descriptions explain the product’s intended behavior, rather than guarantee memory accuracy or long-task success.
Data settings differ materially for work code or private documents. Wonder API offers only Standard mode, in which content is not used to train Meta models. Muse Code subscriptions default to Contributor mode, trading more usage for permission to train future models on prompts, code, files, context and responses. Users can turn it off, after which new content is not used for training while it remains off. Wonder and Full remain available in either mode on eligible plans. This setting governs training use; it should not be treated as a verified interface for viewing, editing or deleting cross-conversation memory.
Regional restrictions also affect access. Meta’s Geographic Use Policy lists mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau as restricted territories, barring access to the relevant services from those locations and limiting integrated products made available to users there. Absence from the restricted list does not establish availability; access still depends on where Meta has enabled the service and the applicable plan conditions.
