TRAE combines Code and Work in one project workspace

TRAE has combined Code and Work, offering an Agent workspace and an IDE mode in one application for coding, documents and delivery, according to QbitAI.

QbitAI’s source animation illustrates switching between TraeCode and TraeWork before the merger. This is the frozen derivative’s still frame, not a screenshot of the new interface.

Agent mode lets users manage projects in one window and assign tasks to multiple agents. They can switch to IDE mode to inspect and refine code. Documents, designs and delivery materials are collected in “My Artifacts.”

QbitAI tried a game editor, repairs to an existing project and a review demo, splitting planning, coding, tests and presentation materials across agents. In its tests, independently prepared plans and designs disagreed on grid sizes and shortcuts. In another case, a testing agent found reversed directional controls after the development agent had reported successful tests.

These examples demonstrate particular workflows, rather than establishing that every project can be delivered automatically. The report does not specify the plans, pricing or regions covered by the merger, or a verifiable staged rollout schedule.
