SpaceXSI released Grok Voice 3.0 on x.ai on October 14, 2026, available the same day in the Voice Agent API. It costs $0.08 per minute ($4.80 per hour), the same as Grok Voice 2.0, and the company says existing agents using grok-voice-latest were switched over automatically with no changes needed.

Citing Artificial Analysis testing, the company says Grok Voice 3.0 scores 86.9 on its Speech-to-Speech Index, up from 81.3 for Grok Voice 2.0, and 97% on Full Duplex Bench. It also claims latency under one second. These figures are quoted from the vendor’s release page and were not independently retested here.

The release page says Grok Voice handles millions of conversations a day in Tesla vehicles and that Starlink call centers use it for about 20,000 calls daily, roughly 70% resolved without a human. These are company-reported usage figures.
